Shoppers are being encouraged to buy gifts made by local artists this Christmas.
Devon Artist Network is highlighting the economic, community and environmental benefits of buying handmade gifts locally.
Many of the Network’s members are selling gifts online or as part of Christmas markets. An online gift guide highlights some of the special gifts available, from an affordable small present to a specially commissioned artwork.
Many artists also offer vouchers for workshops, giving participants the opportunity to create something special themselves.
