I tell stories about arts, culture and heritage by creating short videos, writing engaging copy, and creating other content for use online, in press releases and in marketing materials. I also work with clients, with talented designers and with great photographers to showcase the work of artists, makers and cultural organisations.
When you’re absorbed in a project, it can be difficult to explain it to others. I can help you to pull out the important things and explain your work clearly though words, images and graphics.
Here are some of the videos I’ve created.
Steffen Dam
Danish glass artist Steffen Dam was commissioned by the Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery to create a number of glass vessels. I visited him at his studio in Denmark to create this video which can be seen alongside his work in the Sladen Gallery at RAMM, and was also recently shown as part of an exhibition of Steffen’s work at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, USA.
B-Wing
As part of Somerset Art Weeks Festival 2019, author and broadcaster John McCarthy opened an exhibition at B-Wing, the old prison in Shepton Mallet. Here he talks about the exhibition and relates it to his experiences as a hostage.
CEDA dance project
Dance in Devon and Far Flung Dance created a piece of movement for workshop participants at CEDA. This video shows how they created a special atmosphere so that everyone could enjoy taking part.
Come As You Are Festival, Exeter Phoenix
Writer Natalie McGrath worked with Exeter Phoenix to establish a new LGBTQ+ platform. She supported four young queer artists with small commissions to develop work for the Come As You Are Festival.
